What are the fees for services?

We generally charge an hourly rate and a fee for kilometres as well as any additional expenses such as entertainment, toll fees, etc.

Clients receive a detailed invoice and all payments are due upon receipt.
Payments can be made a number of ways including major credit cards, Paypal, cash, etc.

Is my information kept confidential?

Anderson Investigations are extremely protective of Client's information. Information will never be disclosed without prior written authorization from the Client or if court subpoenaed.

Is it legal for someone to hire a Private Investigator?
Answer:
It is never illegal to hire a Private Investigator. However, it is illegal to hire one for the purpose of asking them to do something which is illegal. Please refer to our Code of Conduct under Policies..

Is reported evidence admissible in court?
Answer:
Any conversations by a subject overheard by a private investigator and/or any photographs taken in public places are typically legal and admissible in court. Anderson Investigations can provide expert witness accounts in court or can provide a sworn affidavit to the court.

Question:
Will the subject ever be aware that they are being investigated?
Answer:
Rarely. Anderson Investigations operates in the strictest of confidence and completely covertly to provide Clients maximum peace of mind. However, in some situations, the subject may suspect they are being followed or investigated and the Investigator will have several options at their discretion. One of those, for example, would be to switch to a different vehicle and resume the investigation.
No one will ever find out an investigation has taken place unless the Client chooses to tell someone.
